Floating Market and Grand Palace & Emeral Buddha

The most famous of the floating markets is Damnoen Saduak, about 100 kilometers southwest of Bangkok, Damnoen Saduak at its liveliest. Most visitors who come to Thailand want to visit a floating market and many of them will end up here. Don’t let that put you off though, it’s an enjoyable morning out of the city and if you avoid the tourist shops you can get a real sense of the place. The market is over an hour outside Bangkok, and the easiest way to get there is to join a tour.

Tour Itinerary

07:00 am. Pick you up from hotel Please wait in the lobby.

08:15 am. Palm sugar factory and seeing how to make a brown sugar. You can sample the liquid sap fresh from the harvest or you can try climbing the tree yourself.

09:00 am. Arrived at the Boat pier for Cruise along the canals in a narrow, long-  tailed motorized boat towards the Damnoen Saduak floating market, where you will see local vendors in their Thai style canoes, laden with colorful fruits, and vegetables, gently plying their way through the canals looking to sell their goods. you can buy food and fruits.

11:30 am. Visit to wood carving factory.

12:00 pm. Lunch at Thai Restaurant.

13:00 pm. Visit The Grand Palace (Wat Phra Kaew) The palace is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Thailand. And visit north of the royal residence and linked by a connecting gateway lies the royal monastery of the Emerald Buddha,

                 The Emerald Buddha is in face carved from a block of green jade and was first discovered in 1437 in a stupa in Chiang Rai. At that time the image was covered with plaster and thought to be ordinary Buddha image later.

15:00 pm.  Return to the Hotel depending on the traffic.

Remark

     Dress politely for Temple. No shorts, sleeveless shirts or see-thru.

     Wear comfort shoes, ease to put off and on.

     Camera may not be used inside the buildings.
