Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and City Temple tour

                 The most famous of the floating markets is Damnoen Saduak, about 100 kilometers southwest of Bangkok, Damnoen Saduak at its liveliest. Most visitors who come to Thailand want to visit a floating market and many of them will end up here. Don’t let that put you off though, it’s an enjoyable morning out of the city and if you avoid the tourist shops you can get a real sense of the place. The market is over an hour outside Bangkok, and the easiest way to get there is to join a tou.

Tour Itinerary

07:00 am. Pick you up from hotel Please wait in the lobby.

08:15 am. Palm sugar Factory and seeing how to make a brown sugar. You can sample the liquid sap fresh from the harvest or you can try climbing the tree yourself.

09:00 am. Arrived at the Boat pier for Cruise along the canals in a narrow, long-  tailed motorized boat towards the Damnoen Saduak floating market, where you will see local vendors in their Thai style canoes, laden with colorful fruits, and vegetables, gently plying their way through the canals looking to sell their goods. you can buy food and fruits.

11:30 am. Visit to wood carving factory.

12:00 pm. Lunch at Thai Restaurant.

13:00 pm. Visit  Wat Pho or Wat Phra Chetuphon (locally known as Wat Pho) is famed for the massive ‘Reclining Buddha’ it houses.  At 46 meters long and 15 meters high, this gold-plated Buddha image depicts the Buddha’s passing into Nirvana. It’s highly ornate and a genuine spectacle – genuinely worth seeing. The Buddha image’s eyes and feet are decorated with mother-of-pearl and carvings in the feet depict the ‘108’ characteristics of Buddha.

14:00 pm. Visit the Marble temple Wat Benchamabophit is once the most modern work of thai religious architecture. This temple is very famous for its main chapel built I white of Italian marble.

15:00 pm. Visit the Golden Buddha Temple (Wat Trimit) which house the world largest gold Buddha image, now more than 700 years old, is valuable treasure of Thailand and Buddhism.

16:00 pm. Return to the Hotel in Bangkok depending on the traffic.

> Dress politely for Temple. No shorts, sleeveless shirts or see-thru.

> Camera may not be used inside the buildings.

> Certain buildings will be closed on holiday and during Royal ceremony.
