Tiger Temple, or Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua, is a Theravada Buddhist temple in western Thailand  that was found in 1994 as a forest temple and sanctuary for wild animals, among them several tigers.

Tour Itinerary

07:00 am. Pick up from your hotel Please wait in the lobby. Remember to take a change of clothes because you'll get wet bathing the elephants.

09:30 am. Visit War cemetery Kanchanaburi The Don Rak War Cemetery in Kanchanaburi is the final resting place of 6,982 Allied P.O.W.'s who perished during the construction of the Death Railway during World War II.

10:15 am. Visit The World famous Bridge Over the River Kwai a part of Death Railway constructed by allied POWs.

11:30 am. Lunch at Thai local Restaurant.

12:20 pm. Visit Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua - well known as Tiger Temple. The Tiger Temple is a rescue center for wild animals and the home of wild tigers, wild pigs, deer, antelopes, water buffaloes, apes and a hand full other animals. The tigers are taken out from their cage from in the afternoon and visitors can even touch them. Picture taking is allowed in all areas. 

                 * Meet the Tiger at the waterfall area for some photo opportunities.

                 * Walk with Young Tigers down to the canyon.

                 * You have further opportunities to take close photo with tigers.

13:00 pm. Cubs feeding  (Extra charge 1,000 THB per person.)

15:00 pm. Leave from The Tiger temple to the Elephant Camp.

15:30 pm. Visit the Elephant Camp where you can experience the uniqueness of a ride on the back of an elephant. The ride normally takes half an hour. 

16:00 pm. Bathe with the elephant in the River Kwai. Here you will ride the back of the elephant, where the "Mahoot" (the elephant rider) will bring the elephant to the River and the elephant will use it's trunk to spray water and take a bath. You will experience this while riding the elephant.

17:20 pm. Return to Bangkok

19:30 pm. Arrive to your hotel in Bangkok around 7:30 PM depending on the traffic.                



        Do not dress in red / Orange or bright color.

        Temples require politely dress.

        No shorts and sleeveless shirts.
